The urban jungle has to be rectified and order has to be instilled to the citizen of this country. Time immemorial Laws in this country has been broken due to being hand in globes with the mighty.
If our people visualized some order comparable to better develop countries. Though it is late, It is still better that we are now getting aware that enough is enough. The laws of the land has to prevail. Every citizen from the higher archi to the common man knows the nexus of police/ politicians/ MCD & DDA in unauthorized occupation of Municipal government land, yet the powers and strentgh of wealth tend to prevail in all the wrong doings.

My suggestion is to involve the income tax department to scrutinized all the personel that are suspected of amassing wealth involve in perpetuating unauthorized construction to encroachment in any government land. 2ndly very obvious with out severe penalty & confiscation of unexplain wealth, deterant gets watered down.3rdly All involved from top to bottom with out exception have to face the music of being jailed with regorous labour.

Now, putting ordinance to save some or few will weaking the judiciary to that point that deterant does not become effective. At this stage it has to be absolute in implementing the building by laws with out exception.

I would like to site an example: In Jhandewalan extention near the metro station along the ridge. An encroachmentin public land still exist. A notice from the court is pasted on the iron wall of the shed dated 1984 from the court. This shet is about 700 sq. ft. in covered area and yet it still stands undemolished, all the juggies have been relocated and demolished . This one still bluttantly stands erect to tell the world the powers of wealth. The DDA, MCD, The police are very much aware the existence of this shed but no action is taken A case they say is pending in court but the files are buried to the point no action has taken place for decades.

Once & for all you should put our foot down to fight this menace, to give a better living standard to our next generation in an orderly manner.

This is an old saying that a cat shifts seven homes after herdelivery. In other words, nature did not allow her for shifting afterseven.

Similarly Delhi built/ rebuilt seven times. I hope nature viza viz administration will also not allowed Delhi to demolish afterseven. Whereas, question belongs to demolishing of houses of Middleclass (excluding big ones) is totally a political move.

In theinterest of better Delhi, only strict actions can save Delhi and Delhites.

First of all, it is better to provide a map/ drawing (freeof cost) to Concerned land lord of each and every Colony by MCD/ DDA/Other Government department(s). If the concerned Land lord did notfollow, then construction should be erased/ demolish.

Secondly, ifthe concerned official(s) received a complaint or known of unauthorizedconstruction(s), he/ they should be punished accordingly, with recoveryof all cost incurred by the landlord.

Thirdly, area Police should beheld responsible for every encroachment.

Fourth, Police should bedirected to ensure that all footpaths are free from all sorts ofencroachments, whether those are temporary, etc

Those persons constructed the building unauthorized are well are of the rules and regulations, they have taken the risk and now they have to suffer.

We can have a penalty system not only on the building owner but also the area inspectors, and there should be a rewarding checking system secretly on the inspector who involved in corruption and ignorant.

The first and formost is to avoid religious places construction.
