Sayali loves to listen to music. She listens to anything & everything ranging from Hindi film music, Indi-Pop, lounge music, world music, fusion music to hip-hop RnB. She can be undoubtedly called a bibliophile who reads variety of topics & authors. She is an avid reader & reads on various subjects & authors. Beauty with a purpose: Sayali has always been a person with compassion for social causes. She has been active in various social causes that have come her way. She believes her biggest contribution has been working with Dr. Prakash Amte at 'Hemalkasa'. Hemalkasa is a remote forest area in the wilderness of Maharashtra state in India. Hemalkasa has 'Zoo dispensary' run by Dr. Amte who treats injured Adivasis(tribals) as well as wild animals from the deep cores of Jungle. In this zoo where Dr. Amte treats & keeps the injured animals has now become home from lions, tigers, leopards, monkeys, porcupines etc. Due to lack of infrastructure many species of animals are kept in the same cage. The combination is so distinctive that one finds lions & tigers living in the same cage & sharing food at lunchtime! Sayali along with her friends went to Hemalkasa & made a documentary about Dr. Amte & his noble work at Hemalkasa |
